Solid line is observed. The dashed segment extending to April’s projected point assumes the remaining 8 days run at the pace of the first 22 — no growth amplification, no trend extrapolation, no seasonal smoothing.

§ 03 · Historical page mix

What visitors opened in one April week.

Every page answers a concrete engineering question (“which OCR for handwriting?”, “which TTS for realtime?”, “who leads SWE-Bench this month?”). That maps cleanly to how ML engineers search. The moat is being the honest, datable, reproducible answer — not a press-release aggregator.

OCR is the single largest channel. In the week of April 15–22, the /ocr cluster alone drove 726 visitors — 40.7% of the top-5 traffic anchors.

§ 04
The thesis

Papers with Code, but maintained.

Papers with Code — the largest public benchmark registry — was retired by Meta in July 2025. The domain now serves a 502. Nothing has replaced it at that scope. Codesota is building the successor with three constraints the original did not carry: numbers must be dated, reproducible, and not tangled with vendor money.

The site covers OCR, speech, LLMs, vision, code generation, robotics, audio, and embedded inference. Each area has a leaderboard, a methodology page, and a comparison cluster that answers the specific “which model for X” questions engineers actually ask. The registry is CC BY 4.0. The code is open source.

What it is not: a press-release aggregator, a funding-news feed, a leaderboard that deletes retractions, a Discord community, or a product trying to sell inference credits back to the reader.

§ 05 · Talk

If you back operators who ship,
I’m one email away.

I'm not raising right now. I am open to strategic conversations with funds who invest in dev-tool / developer-data infrastructure — compute partners, commissioned benchmarks, and research collaborations are all on the table. The site is the pitch. The numbers on this page use a dated production snapshot and the older monthly series is retained as history.
